What's New at SCN
There's always something going on at the Story Circle Network. Susan blogs about its on-going day-to-day activities and the many volunteers who support it, in the context of SCN's twelve-year history and its mission as the only organization by, for, and about women lifewriters.
Susan Wittig Albert is a bestselling novelist and memoirist and the founder and president emerita of the Story Circle Network. She earned degrees from the University of Illinois and UC Berkeley and served on the faculties and in university administrations at the University of Texas at Austin, Tulane University/Newcomb College, and Texas State University. She is the author of Writing From Life, Telling Your Soul's Story; Work of Her Own: A Woman's Guide to Success off the Career Track; the China Bayles mysteries; the Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter; and (with her husband) the Robin Paige Victorian mysteries. She is also an editor of SCN's WILLA award-winning anthology, What Wildness is This. She and her husband live in the Texas Hill Country. On her blog, Lifescapes, she writes about her garden, rural life, and writing.
